Police chiefs promise to intensify training

Police chiefs from the Caribbean have pledged to intensify training and intra-regional cooperation at the just concluded annual conference in Guyana.



The commissioners agreed to share intelligence in a more timely manner and to promote greater co-operation in drug interdiction.



The chiefs say they intend to take full advantage of the training opportunities offered by the FBI and other international agencies.
