The Association of British Travel Agents is continuing to lobby hard against hikes in a passenger tax that will send up the cost of flights from the UK to the Caribbean over the next two years.

Spokesman for the association, Sean Tipton, says he’s not optimistic that the tax will be rolled back

He says the potential for damage from the tax to Caribbean arrivals is greater than that caused by the current economic downturn.
