St Kitts Prime Minister re-elected

St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas has been re-elected for a 21st consecutive year as leader of the governing Labour Party.



That mean\'s he\'ll be in charge of the party for the next general election, expected later this year.



Dr Douglas told delegates at the party\'s annual conference that the current international financial crisis demanded that voters choose a government with a proven track record of skilled and responsible management.



He said the Labour Party represented safe and capable hands for serious times.
