Overseas teams arrive for Volleyball Championships

Five overseas teams are scheduled to arrive in the country today for Round Two of the North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) Group ‘D’ Men’s World Championships Qualifiers.
The five-day Qualifiers will begin on Wednesday and will take place at the National Indoor Sports Centre.
Jamaica will play alongside Cayman Islands and Haiti in Pool ‘A’, while Mexico, St Lucia and Bahamas will compete in Pool ‘B’.
The top two teams from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals and the winner will secure a spot in the third round in Puerto Rico.
The second place team will move on the NORCECA ‘H’ event which will take place in Cuba.
