Jamaican David Summerbell yesterday dominated the first leg of the 2009 Caribbean Motor Racing Championships, dubbed ‘LIME/Caribbean Invasion’, at Dover Raceway in St Ann.
Summerbell, driving his Evolution Eight, captured all three of the Championship races to lead with 30 points.
He will enter the second leg in Barbados in August with a 14-point lead over the Barbadian brothers – Stuart Maloney and Mark Maloney on 16 points each.
The third and final leg is scheduled for November in Guyana.
