Makka Pro contest set for July

The country’s premier annual pro surfing event, the Suzuki Makka surfing contest, is set to take place on July 4 and 5.
It will take place at the Makka surfing beach in St Thomas and features the region best pro surfers.
Over $500 thousand are up for grabs.
The Makka surfing contest is the first of four events in the Caribbean Challenge Cup series.
There will be two events in Barbados and one in Trinidad.
