Tim May, the head of the Federation of International Cricketers’ Association, says Chris Gayle is one of many international players who feel they will have to choose between their countries and private franchise-based Twenty/Twenty events in the future.
May says a survey conducted recently showed that several international players shared the same views as the West Indies captain.
According to May the international calendar will soon have no less than five Twenty/Twenty leagues involving international players competing with Tests and One-Day internationals.
