The World Bank has approved a $121 million lending plan for Haiti.
The funds will go towards jobs, reducing the impact of natural disasters and programmes aimed at stimulating economic growth.
The Washington-based institution says the facility provides assistance through a mix of investment projects and development policy measures.
Country Director for the Caribbean, Yvonne Tsikata says the funds will support Haiti’s own efforts to recover from last year’s devastating storms.
