Caribbean Junior Golf Championships start July 7

Jamaica are highly fancied to improve on last year’s performance at the 22nd Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships which is scheduled to take place from July 7 to 10 at the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course in Montego Bay.
Nine countries including defending champions Puerto Rico will compete in the 54-hole championship, which was launched yesterday at the LIME Golf Academy in Kingston.
There will be three categories, 13 and Under Boys and Girls, 14 to 15 Boys and Girls and 16 to 17 Boys and Girls.
Jonathan Newnham and Vittoria Marley will lead Jamaica’s 18 member team.
Coach Jason Lopez is expecting Jamaica to improve on their fourth place last year in the Cayman Islands.
