Cayman Islands records first H1N1 case

The Cayman Islands is the latest Caribbean nation to record a case of the H1N1 Influenza.



A student has reportedly contracted the virus.



The health department says the student showed symptoms after a trip to New York last month.



Swine flu has been detected in five other English speaking Caribbean countries.



Yesterday news emerged of one case each in Barbados and Trinidad.



There have also been two cases in Jamaica, one in the Bahamas and one in Bermuda.
