Jamaica defeat St Lucia in Volleyball qualifiers

Jamaica last night secured a 3-0 victory over St Lucia in their opening second round North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation Group ‘D’ women’s qualifying series at the Wildey Gymnasium in Barbados.



The Jamaicans won 25-15, 25-13, 25-21.



Over in Pool ‘A’ hosts Barbados thrashed Haiti 3-0, winning 25-14, 26-24, 25-14.



Jamaica’s second game will be against the Cayman Islands, while Barbados will face Bahamas. Both matches will take place tomorrow at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
