Bolt to run 100 in Canada today

Beijing Olympic triple gold medallist Jamaican Usain Bolt will headline the Festival of Excellence track and field meet tonight at the University of Toronto\'s Varsity Centre in Canada.



Bolt will compete in the men’s 100 metres scheduled to begin at 7:20 Jamaica time. The field includes two other Jamaicans – Marvin Anderson and Mario Forsythe and American Shawn Crawford.



It will be Bolt’s first major 100 metres of the season.



There will be eight other Jamaicans competing at the meet.



Sanjay Ayre, Ricardo Chambers and Jermaine Gonzales will run in the men’s 400 metres, Andrea Bliss, Vonette Dixon and Nickiesha Wilson will compete in the women’s 100-metre hurdles, while Sonita Sutherland and Clora Williams will run in the women’s 400 metres.
