Antigua step up anti-crime efforts

Antigua’s National Security Minister Dr. Errol Cort says the Government will be making more resources available to the police to curb incidents of rape and other violent crimes.



Dr. Cort says measures to tackle the problem include foot and mobile patrols, joint surveillance and stop and search exercises.



He says rape and other violent crimes continue to be a growing concern for Antiguans.
