Derby Day at Caymanas Park tomorrow

The Philip Feanny-trained colt BRUCE ON THE LOOSE is the ante-post favourite for the 89th running of the Derby, the premier classic over 2400 metres at Caymanas Park tomorrow afternoon.
Sponsored for the first time by the United Bookmakers Association, the Derby, the second leg of the Triple Crown, looks an open affair with six of the 15 starters having good chances.
The others with good chances are the 1000 Guineas and Oaks winner SAINT CECELIA, the Lotto Classic winner HE’S REALLY OK, POSEIDON, JAYLEN and THE RED SKULL.
The 12-race programme also features the United Bookmakers Association Juvenile Stakes for Native Bred Maiden Special Weight over 600 metres and the United Bookmakers Association Spring over 1300 metres.
