Oneil's funeral tomorrow

The funeral service for Voicemail's Oneil Edwards will be held tomorrow at Church On The Rock, 7 Clifton Drive, Kingston 8.

After the 10 a.m. service, his body will be buried at Meadowrest Memorial Gardens.

On May 10, the deejay was shot multiple times while entering his home in Duhaney Park. He was admitted to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) where he remained in critical condition.

During his time in the hospital, prayer vigils were held for him, with the hope that he would have recovered. However, he succumbed to his injuries on May 26.

Edwards died just three weeks after his 35th birthday. For 16 days, he battled the injuries he sustained after being shot five times.

Edwards is survived by his six-week-old daughter, girlfriend, mother, five sisters and four brothers.
