Esor Dance Ensemble is having its fifth season of excellence.

Dubbed 'Images', Esor will entertain and showcase the talent of its young performers in pop, jazz and folk, among other genres of dance.

Headed by Miss Sandra Rose, artistic director, the dance troupe will perform on October 15-17 at the Little Theatre, Tom Redcam Avenue, Kingston. The gala performance will be held on Sunday, October 17, at 6 p.m., with cocktails being served at 5 p.m.

The groups involved in the dance presentations are from the various groups within the ensemble - Excel, Soarers, Optimistic and Reachers - and these pieces are choreographed by young, talented guest choreographers Orette Beckford, Dwayne Fullwood, Kareen McLean, Janelle Robinson and Uton Vassell under the direction of Sandra Rose.

Esor admits students from six to 18 years and currently has over 60students enrolled.

Esor is an internationally recognised group, which performs locally and overseas at various events in the United States.

Rose, who is also a choreographer, says she sees dancing as an art and says this is her life. According to her, she eats, sleeps, and dreams of dancing. For her, there is no surprise when her group does well because she puts out the best.

She is a perfectionist and settles for nothing less than the best.
