Proven Wealth, JMMB for Kiwanis golf

Jamaica Money Market Brokers (JMMB) and Proven Wealth Limited are expected to highlight the team section of the 12th annual FX Trader Kiwanis Club of New Kingston Charity Golf Tournament at the Caymanas Golf and Country Club on Sunday.

The tournament, which will be held under a 18-hole stableford format and begins at 8:30 a.m., will also see action in men's, senior men's and ladies categories, as they vie for a number of prizes and trophies.

"We are in high anticipation that the tournament will be a success. We have had a number of companies and individuals who have expressed interest and support, and we look forward to a wonderful day," said Kiwanis Club of New Kingston president, Andrea Moore.

"It's our primary charity event and, as such, we encourage golfers and spectators to come out early and make a truly memorable say," she added.

Last year, the event saw proceeds going to the purchasing of equipment for the Victoria Jubilee Hospital. However, this year such proceeds will be going to the upgrading of a basic school to the standards required by the national early childhood commission.

The tournament is being part-sponsored by Globe Insurance Company, Caledonia Outdoor Advertising, Allied Insurance Brokers, Guardsman Armoured Limited, Guardian Life Limited, The Gleaner, RJR Communications Group, ATL Autohaus, Audi, Supreme Ventures Limited, First Caribbean Bank and JAMPET.
