Masterton polo tourney starts today

The annual Doc Masterton one-day polo tournament kicks off this morning at the Kingston Polo Club, Caymanas Estates, with the island's top players on show.
In the first match at 11 a.m., the Jamaica women's team, led by top female player Lesley Fong-Yee, will oppose Stresscon.
The women's team is completed by Rachel Turner, Michele Subaran and Susan Wates, while the Stresscon team comprises Craig Russell, Troy Brennen, Stevie Fong-Yee and Adam Epstein. Umpires are Mining and Energy Minister James Robertson and Mark Wates.
The teams for the second match at noon, between Young Guns and Old School, are as follows: Young Guns - Jason Wates, Sam Wates, Adam Laing and Mike Turner. Old School - Paul Lalor, Lesley Fong-Yee, Pieter Barrow and Mark Chin. Umpires are Troy Brennan and Rachel Turner.
The third match at 1 p.m. will see Chukka Blue up against the Bearings and Accessories team comprising the high-goal Argentinian Jorge Donovan, Mitta Rousseau, Jason Willets and Pang. Chukka Blue will be represented by Jose Lartirigoyen, Jordan Samuda, Courtney Cohen and Jeff Chambers. Umpires are Paul Lalor and Jason Wates.
The fourth and final match at 2 p.m. pits Ponderosa against Toby's Inn. Ponderosa - Mark Wates, Jason Wates, Tarik Felix and Kelly Wates. Toby's Inn - Paul Chin, James Robertson, Justin Samuda and Brian Phillipps. Umpires are Jorge Donovan and Jose Lartirigoyen.
