Capleton

Since the late 1980s, Shango, more popularly known as Capleton has been one of Jamaica's most outstanding deejays.

There is no doubt as to his impact over the years, with songs like Raggy Road and Stand Tall. Apart from being a long-time advocate of producing message music, Capleton has also been a pioneer in teaching local artistes

how to provide high-energy live performances.

So, on May 21, THE STAR will be honouring him at Club Impulse, 61 Knutsford Boulevard, New Kingston (behind Burger King).

But, before Capleton gets up-and-close to his loyal fans, there will be performances from fellow Rastafarian artiste, Munga, and former Rising Star winner, Romain Virgo.

Ladies may enter free, while men pay $400 to join them. There will also be Magnum bucket deals all night.

Check out The STAR for more details.
