Big three not declared for Lotto Classic

Fourteen native-bred three-year-olds were yesterday declared at the overnight stage for the 71st running of the Lotto Classic (Governor's Cup) over 2000 metres, the final prep for the June 11 Derby over 2000 metres.
The draw was conducted live at approximately 2 p.m.
Notable absentees from he line-up are the 2000 Guineas winner BIG MAN BOYU, 1000 Guineas winner NIPHAL and Oaks heroine CARIDAD.
The horses and their riders in post position order are as follows: 1. SIR SOUTH (Carlton Malcolm), 2. MAAS LAURIE (Shane Ellis), 3. COLD GROUND (Paul Francis), 4. TECHNOMOTO (Dick Cardenas), 5. JET SETTER (Richard Mairs), 6. HERMOSO AMIGO (Doushane Gordon), 7. ZACK (Omar Walker-2), 8. AWESOME WILDCAT (Aaron Chatrie), 9. SWEET TRAIL (Wesley Henry), 10. ERASMO (Omar Walker-1), 11. LUSCIOUS (Georgina Sergeon), 12. SKIPPING BOY (Kerry-Gayle Robinson), 13. JUSTIN ON FIRE (Dane Nelson) and 14. ORDEROFDISTINCTION (Richard Cole).
The race offers a total purse of $3.55 million.
