A small contingent of Jamaican karters, who participated in today's club event at the Homestead track in Florida, United States, is expected to return to the island tonight.

The team left on Friday.

Among them are Thomas Issa and Matthew Williams, who competed in the Rotax Junior Class, and Joshua Sirgany in the Rotax Mini-Max Class.

"They are preparing for next month's Pan American Rotax Challenge Finals," said president of the Jamaica Karting Association, Peter Rae.

The Rotax Pan American Challenge Finals are scheduled for September 22-25, at the New Castle Motorsports Park, which is located outside of Indianapolis.
