After thrilling motor vehicle enthusiasts in Montego Bay two weeks ago, Ian Lyn and the Firm Marketing Agency have their eyes set on conquering Mandeville. The Manchester capital is hosting the third in a series of cross-island stops for the Jamaica Motor Show (JMS) this weekend.

The show started yesterday and continues today at Belair High School.

The JMS, a new and mostly used-car dealer market show, has been travelling across the island since resuming last year, offering customers greater options in selecting their ideal vehicles.

Ian Lyn, CEO of the Firm Marketing Agency and vice-president of sales and marketing for Kia Motors, is enthusiastic. "In January, we kicked off the goodness in Kingston and just two weeks ago, we followed up with thrilling deals in Montego Bay. Now Mandeville has the chance to share in the action," he said.

Lyn said the weekend promises to be a good one, as the show will be different from the others, bringing dealers from in and outside of the area together. "Each market is different and we try to execute the show differently. The Mandeville leg will showcase more, since it is the home to the Jamaica Classic Auto Club. We are also adding more options for first-time and multiple car owners. Put simply, it will have a little for everyone, regardless of your budget. And when you buy a car, we have a little extra for you," he added.

Lyn revealed that sponsor Guardsman Alarm will be offering free installation of their sophisticated GPS Vehicle Tracking System with every vehicle purchased or negotiated at the show. Guardsman believes the offer is ideal for customer security, as it assures them they are never alone.

Other sponsors include Scotiabank, the RJR Communications Group and Sagicor.
