Jerome Taylor moves up in rankings

Jamaican Jerome Taylor is the highest rated West Indies bowler in the International Cricket Council’s Player Rankings for Test bowlers.



Taylor moves to the Number 12 spot displacing the Barbadian Corey Collymore who was the highest ranked West Indies bowler.



Collymore holds down the Number 13 spot.



West Indies now have four bowlers in the top 30, with Fidel Edwards up two places to 28th, and Dwayne Bravo now at 30, up four places from the previous ranking.



In the all-rounder category, Bravo moves up one place to Number Four, behind South African Jacques Kallis, Daniel Vettori of New Zealand and England’s Andrew Flintoff.



In the Test team championship rating, West Indies remain at second from the bottom at eighth place on 77 rating points.



The Australians stay top with 141 ratings points, 30 points clear of India on 111.
