The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is reporting that the two World Cup Qualifiers against the Bahamas were unprofitable.

The JFF said preliminary figures for the last three international matches including the World Cup qualifiers shows a combined deficit of more than $300,000.

The main expenditure for the combined games was match fees, which costs $14 million.

Security, ticket co-ordination and printing cost more than $7 million. Rental of the National Stadium and the Trelawny Complex facility cost over $3.3 million, Airfare $2.7 million and Hotel Accommodations $2.5 million.

A release from the JFF said the federation would take some harsh but necessary decisions for the upcoming qualifiers.

Among the options is a recommendation from the Board of Directors to reduce the numbers of overseas-based professionals in the squad.

There is also a recommendation to further increase ticket prices.
