The United States Coast Guard has sent more than 100 Haitians back to their homeland after spotting an overloaded ship southwest of Great Inagua, in the Bahamas over the weekend.
The Coast Guard said the crew boarded the ship and distributed life jackets, food and water to the migrants.
They also provided medical assistance to the migrants where necessary.
According to the Coast Guard, 107 Haitians have been sent back since October 1 last year.
