Tivoli Gardens have earned the right to play Harbour View in the end-of-first-round final of the Digicel Premier League following yesterday’s final set of games.

The west Kingston team took the final spot after scoring a 2-1 victory over Boys’ Town at Collie Smith Drive.

Navion Boyd scored both goals for Tivoli Gardens in the 51st and 65th minutes, while George Venal scored for the home team at the 67th minute.

As a result of the victory, Tivoli Gardens have ended the round in second place on 21 points, two behind leaders Harbour View, which qualified a week ago.

Harbour View failed to add to their tally after suffering a 2-1 defeat to defending champions Portmore United at Ferdi Neita Park.

With the victory, Portmore United have now moved to joint third place with St. Georges United, which defeated Village United 2-0 at Jarrett Park in Montego Bay.

In other games yesterday, Meadhaven defeated Reno 2-1 and Rivoli United edged Arnett Gardens 1-0.

Meanwhile, the game between Sporting Central Academy and Waterhouse at Brancourt in Clarendon was called off shortly after the start because of rain.

The end-of-first-round final is scheduled for Sunday at the National Stadium, beginning at 4 p.m.
