Vauxhall are Under-19 netball champs

Vauxhall High scored a nail biting 18-16 victory over Ardenne High yesterday to win their first Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association/ Digicel Corporate Area Under-19 netball title.



The game was played at the Leila Robinson Courts.



Goalshooter Sheresha Richards led Vauxhall to victory with a game-high 15 goals.



Christine Howell, with 13 goals from 25 attempts, was the leading scorer for Ardenne.



Defending champions Tarrant, captured third place with a 22 to 20 victory over Camperdown.



St Andrew High won the Under-16 title by edging defending champions Queen’s 25 to 24.



St Hugh’s finished third in the Under-16 section with a 23 to 21 victory over Bridgeport High.
