National V’ball training resumes this weekend

Overseas-based player Lecia Brown will join the national senior women’s volleyball squad this weekend to begin preparation for the 2009 World Championships qualifiers.



Brown is a student at the University of Louisville in the United States.



Meanwhile, the overseas-based pair of Parrish Offer and Shaun Powell will join the men’s senior squad in May.



Offer and Powell both play professionally in Denmark.



The men’s team is also preparing for the World Championships Qualifiers.



Both squads will train this weekend at the G.C. Foster College Gymnasium, beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day.
