T&T budget revision

The Trinidad and Tobago government is again to revise the country\'s 2009 budget.

This is the second time in two months that the budget has had to be revised.

In early December the Patrick Manning administration revised the budgeted price of crude oil from US$70 to $55.

This was possible as the prices of oil, natural gas and petrochemical products plummeted.

Oil prices have since gone down even further to below $40.

Finance Minister Karen Nunez-Tesheria says the government is weighing its options to effectively address the situation.

She says some hard decisions will have to be made.
