Jamaica defeated Combined Campuses
Reigning champions Jamaica completed a 51-run victory over the Combined Campuses and Colleges about 25 minutes before lunch on today’s fourth and final day in their third round match of the regional competition at the Three Ws Oval in Barbados.
The Combined Campuses and Colleges, in search of 221 for victory, were dismissed for 169 in their second innings after resuming this morning on 103 for five.
Pacer Andrew Richardson was the most successful Jamaican bowler with three for 17. Odean Brown three for 49, Gavin Wallace two for six and Nikita Miller two for 57 supported.
Jamaica 161 and 165, Combined Campuses and Colleges 106 and 169.
Following the victory, Jamaica have moved back to the top of the table with 30 points, three ahead of Barbados, which defeated the Leeward Islands by an innings and 55 runs in St Maarten yesterday.
Over at Guaracara Park, hosts Trinidad and Tobago are closing in on victory against Windward Islands.
Windward Islands, set 379 for victory, reached 190 for eight at lunch.
