Embattled British sprinter Dwain Chambers said he now has Jamaican sprint icon Usain Bolt in his sights, after clocking a personal best 6.52 seconds in the 60 metres dash at the Birmingham Games on Saturday.
The 30 year old, trying to rebuild his career after it was almost ruined by a drugs ban, said he had conquered Bolt several times in training and that has given him confidence.
Chambers trained in Jamaica three years ago.
He is now preparing for the World Championships in Berlin in August after missing the Beijing Games because of an Olympic ban.
Bolt picked up three gold medals at the Beijing Olympics last year in record times, winning the 100 metres, 200 metres and running the third leg in Jamaica’s successful sprint relay team.
