Car bomb kills 10 in Iraq

At least 10 persons are dead and another 40 injured following a car bomb explosion in Iraq, today.



According to the BBC, the police reported that the incident took place in a busy market, near the city of Hilla in Babil province.



This attack comes at a time when the country has been experiencing relative peace for some months.



Members of the police force are believed to be among persons hit by the explosion.



While it’s not clear who carried out the attack, it is believed that Al- Qaeda militants may be linked to the incident.
