Deadliest day in Iraq

Iraqi government officials have described yesterday as the bloodiest day in the nation’s history with as much as 90 deaths in one day.



It’s reported that female suicide bombers attacked busy restaurants killing at least 55 people in the Diyala province and at least 28 persons in Baghdad.



In two other incidents four other persons were killed and more than 120 wounded.



Officials say there were also reports of the shooting deaths of U.S. and Iraq military forces.



They admitted that the months of relative calm, the country had been experiencing are now marred by an increase in violent attacks.
