St. Kitts Minister to meet business leaders

St Kitts and Nevis Labour Minister Sam Condor has called a meeting with social and business leaders, to discuss possible placements for employees who have lost their jobs as a result of the weakened global economy.
Mr Condor has reportedly requested the talks in light of the termination of 100 employees at the St Kitts Marriott, and additional layoffs at other private sector companies.
He says the situation calls for a sober and mature response as well as effective leadership.
