Cuba sign agreement with North Korea

Cuba has signed an agreement with North Korea aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.



The North Korean minister, Pak Ui Chun, has been in Cuba to attend a ministerial summit of the Non-Aligned Movement.



During his visit Mr Pak is said to have met his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez, in Havana.



Mr Pak and Mr Rodriguez reportedly signed the accord after holding private talks behind closed doors.



No details have been provided on the nature of the agreement.
