Mumbai Indians with West Indies all rounder Dwayne Bravo lost by two runs to Rajasthan Royals in their Indian Premier League match at Kingsmead in South Africa today.
Mumbai were 142 for seven and needing four runs from the final over to overhaul Rajasthan’s 145 for seven.
But Munaf Patel took two wickets for one run to lead Rajasthan Royals to victory.
Mumbai were bowled out for 143 with one ball remaining. Bravo, who was promoted to opener, could only managed one run.
Sachin Tendulkar top scored for Mumbai with 40 and Abhishek Nayar chipped in with 35.
Earlier, Rob Quiney topscored with 51 and Ravi Jadeja added 42 for Rajasthan.
The result lifted Rajasthan to third in the eight-team league. Mumbai slipped to sixth.
In the first match, Bangalore Royal Challenger scored a two-wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings to maintain their late push for a place in the semi-finals.
