Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz and Costa Rica will meet in a crucial Group ‘A’ match this evening as the CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament continues at the Columbus Crew Stadium in the United States.

Jamaica and Costa Rica are at the bottom of the table on zero point following defeats in their opening games of the tournament and both teams need at least a point to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the quarter-finals.

The Jamaicans were beaten 1-0 by Canada on Friday, while Costa Rico lost 2-1 to El Salvador on the same night.

Canada and El Salvador, who lead the group with three points each, will meet following the Jamaica, Costa Rica encounter.

The 12-nation tournament includes three groups and the top two from each group plus the two best third place teams will qualify for the quarterfinals.
