Reggae Boyz out of Gold Cup

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz returned home earlier this afternoon after failing to advance to the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the United States.
The Jamaicans were hoping to advance as one of the two best third-placed teams after scraping past El Salvador 1-0 on Friday to finish third in Group ‘A’ with three points.
However, Panama secured the last spot after a 4-0 victory over Nicaragua in a Group ‘C’ match yesterday at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona, USA.
Haiti had qualified as one of the best third-placed team on Saturday following a 2-2 draw against United States.
Haiti and Panama ended with four points to edge out Jamaica.
