Usain Bolt says he may compete in the long jump after dominating the sprint events in the World Championships, which ended in Berlin, Germany yesterday and at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Bolt set five world records on his way to winning the 100 metres, 200 metres and 4x100 metres in Berlin and in Beijing before that.
The 23-year-old Bolt says he would love to try the long jump before he retires, because he thinks he would be very good at it.
Mike Powell, who holds the current long jump record with a leap of 8.95 metres, believes Bolt could be the man to break the nine-metre mark.
