Reigning champions Tivoli Gardens carved out a 1-0 victory over St Georges at the Edward Seaga Stadium yesterday to move back to the top of the Digicel Premier League table.
Horace Sharpe scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute, to put Tivoli Gardens on 19 points, 1 ahead of St Georges, who had a 2 point lead going into the game.
It was the first defeat for St Georges.
Meanwhile, Rivoli United upset Portmore United 2-0 at the Spanish Town Prison Oval to record their second victory of the season.
Devon Hodges and Kirk Ramsay scored the goals for the home team.
In other games, Waterhouse defeated Sporting Central Academy 2-1 at Brancourt in Clarendon, Boys Town recorded a 2-1 victory over bottom placed August Town at Collie Smith Drive, while Village United and Arnett Gardens played to a goalless draw at Elliston Wakeland Centre in Trelawny.
