WI selectors name 15-man squad for Aussies tour

The West Indies selectors have included Trinidad and Tobago opener Adrian Barath in a 15-man squad for the three-Test tour of Australia later this month.



The Chris Gayle-led squad also includes all-rounder Darren Sammy, batsman Travis Dowlin and fast bowlers Kemar Roach and Gavin Tonge – four of the players who made themselves available during the strike by senior players.



The remaining members of the squad are Sulieman Benn, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Narsingh Deonarine, Brendan Nash, Denesh Ramdin, Ravi Rampaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Jerome Taylor.



Fidel Edwards is injured and was not considered for selection.



West Indies will play Queensland in a four-day game starting on November 18 their only warm-up fixture before the Opening Test in Brisbane, which starts November 26.
