Pakistan, replying to New Zealand’s score of 211, were struggling on 99-8 after 30 overs in the third and final one-day international at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Earlier, a career-best haul of 4 wickets by off-spinner Saeed Ajmal, helped Pakistan restrict New Zealand to 211 off 46.3 overs.
Opener Brendon McCallum top scored for New Zealand with 76, while Ross Taylor chipped in with 44.
The series is locked at 1-1.
