Tottenham in serious accident

Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini was hospitalized with fractured wrists and a damaged pelvis today after he was involved in a motorcycle accident.



Spurs did not immediately announce details of the accident but says the 36-year-old Italian, who moved to the club from Chelsea last season, was undergoing scans under the supervision of club medical staff.



The Metropolitan Police say Cudicini\'s BMW motorcycle was in a collision with a car.



It has been reported that the goalkeeper had injuries, which were possibly life threatening.



Neither the female driver or a child in the car needed treatment.
