Central move top of Major League table

Central Kingston recorded a 2-1 victory over the University of the West Indies in their rescheduled top of the table clash in the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association/ Claro Major League competition yesterday.



Ricardo Taylor 35th minute and Kemar Cummings 42nd minute scored for Central Kingston, while Jeffrey Brown, 55th minute, netted for the University of the West Indies.



As a result of the victory, Central Kingston have moved to top of the table with 21 points, two ahead of University of the West Indies on 19.



In other games, seventh place Molynes United and bottom place Cooreville Gardens battled to a 0-0 draw, while second from the bottom Swallowfield beat 10th place Olympic Gardens 1-0.
