West Indies, Australia face off in final one day

West Indies will try to snap their losing streak against Australia when they tackle the host in the fifth and final One Day International tonight Caribbean time at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.



The match is scheduled to bowl off 10:25 Jamaica time.



Australia, the reigning World Cup champions, hold a winning 3-0 lead in the five-match series.



West Indies batting all-rounder Kieron Pollard said the touring side will be very determined to beat the Aussies in the final match.



The big-hitting Pollard has led the West Indies batting in the series so far with 125 runs.



He leads Dwayne Smith, 109 and Narsingh Deonarine 95 as the team’s top scorers.



Meanwhile, Australia have included twenty-year-old leg spinning all-rounder Steven Smith in their squad.



He replaced Nathan Hauritz, who is the latest players to be rested as Cricket Australia has continued to enforce its policy of managed workloads.
