Jamaica slip on place in FIFA rankings

Jamaica’s senior Reggae Boyz have dropped one place to 78 in football’s latest world rankings released today by FIFA.



The Jamaicans are well ahead of their Caribbean neighbours Trinidad and Tobago, who have dropped eight places to 93.



Meanwhile, Spain retained top spot, while Portugal and England both improved their positions in the top 10.



European champion Spain leads second-place Brazil and the third-place Netherlands, while Portugal are fourth after climbing two places in the monthly rankings table.



World champion Italy dropped to fifth, Germany are sixth and England rise one spot to Number seven, trading places with France which lost 2-0 against Spain in a March 3 friendly.
