Horses battle for Memorial Cup

Overnight allowance horses will take centrestage at Caymanas Park tomorrow, when 12 of them face the starter for the annual renewal of the Calvin O’Sullivan Memorial Cup over 1820 metres.

The field includes the recent fast-time winner FLUFFY.

The Wayne DaCosta-trained American filly, FLUFFY, won easily over 1400 metres on March 27, covering the distance in the smart time of 1 minute 25.3 seconds in restricted company

FLUFFY, with champion jockey Omar Walker again at the helm, should start favourite as a result of that performance.

However, she can expect stiff competition from the two-turn specialists, GO MY ROBIN and PRIME MINISTER, along with SPACEMAN and the useful three-year-old colt, SULAMANI.

There are eight other races on the card with post time being 1.30 p.m.
