Opposition protest over marine boundary

Grenada\'s efforts to formally establish its marine boundary with Trinidad and Tobago are fuelling protest action from the main opposition New National party (NNP).

The marine boundary treaty is scheduled to be signed in the Trinidadian capital, Port of Spain, today.

However, the opposition is accusing the government of selling away Grenada\'s birthright.

The NNP is calling for Grenadians to wear black, in protest over the decision.

Prime Minister Tillman Thomas is leading a delegation to the signing ceremony.
