Organisers still trying to get Bolt for Commonwealth Games

The Organising Committee of the 2010 Commonwealth Games says if required, it will seek Commonwealth Games Federation president Mike Fennell\'s intervention to ensure double world record holder Usain Bolt attend the October 3-14 event.

Bolt\'s coach Glen Mills says the Games in New Delhi are not part of the Jamaican\'s schedule as it comes at a time when the sprinter will be doing his base training for next year\'s World Championships.

Secretary of the Organising Committee Lalit Bhanot, however, says the organisers are still hoping that Bolt will compete in the mega-sporting event in New Delhi.

Bhanot says the Organising Committee could even explore the possibility of using Fennell, who is also Jamaican Olympic Association (JOA) president, to ensure Bolt\'s participation in the Games.

He, however, denied talks of the Organising Committee giving appearance fee to Bolt for his participation.
