FIFA yet to decide on trophy presenter

FIFA has not yet decided who will present the World Cup trophy to the winning captain on Sunday.

Former South Africa president, Nelson Mandela, is likely to perform the honour, if the 91-year-old anti-apartheid icon is well enough to attend the match at Soccer City.

Mandela's foundation released a brief statement late yesterday acknowledging an invitation from FIFA.

Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro received the 2006 trophy in Berlin from Lennart Johansson, who was then president of UEFA.
